Self help books these days are quite often rehashes of the last few self help books that have been on the market. Dr. Timothy Laskis gives us some much needed wake up help with his new book Finding Your Costa Rica: 5 Powerful Steps to Personal, Professional and Financial Success.
If there was a flaw to this book I would have liked a bit more depth into illustrations of how Timothy Laskis or others have set and achieved their own goals rather than telling us. Maybe a little more depth there. Laskis does on the other hand tell us quite a bit about where he came from professionally and educationally
- a veritable loser from his description. But he used the principles in his book to turn from failing grades in high school and as an undergraduate to turn himself around and eventually earn a Ph.D. in Psychology, start a successful career as a counselor and eventually find his love and live in the Central American country of Costa Rica. He takes us through five steps to stop wasting our lives and to start living our dreams.
I found Finding Your Costa Rica to be an easy and enjoyable read. If you would like to learn how to figure out what your dreams are and start living them I recommend that you find your Costa Rica as well.
